The Orchestra Program usually does one big trip every three years or so. Students can raise money through several fundraisers throughout the year (and even the years before). The other years, they might have the opportunity to take a trip within Colorado.

We are planning on a cultural trip to New York City with the CHS Choir in Spring of 2026!

Our String and Chamber Orchestras won top honors at the Winter Park Music Festival. Students had the opportunity to ski, snowboard, tube down the mountain. A wonderful time was had by all!
Each Spring: Elitch Gardens
Our students in Concert Orchestra perform for a judge at the Elitch Gardens Music Festival in Denver and after, will spend the rest of the day in the park to celebrate their accomplishments.
Spring 2023: Disney World
Spring 2023: Disney World
The Centaurus Orchestra and Band had an amazing combined trip to Disney World (with a day at Universal Studios). The orchestra performed to a fantastic audience at Disney Springs while the band had the opportunity to march down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. It was an unforgettable adventure!
